Conceptual Course

In this course students are encouraged to find their own style and develop conceptual and critical work by the help of personal and group projects that are delivered during semester. Depending on their projects’ needs they are taught some other techniques and materials such as, making silicone and plaster molds, casting resin, papier-mâché, working with Plexiglas and wood…etc. They are encouraged to embrace experimental process and learn and develop by making.

The course is designed as 16 weeks periods. However, students are encouraged to continue one or two more semesters to deepen their artistic experience. Course is open to students who completed Technical Course provided by Maden or has a previous background in jewellery making.

3 hours / week, 16 weeks duration, 48 hours
