Born in 1980, Ankara, Turkey. She graduated from Industrial Design Department of Istanbul Technical University in 2003.
She got the second prize in the Jewelry Design Competition of World Gold Council Turkey in 2002, and decided to pursue a career in jewelry design. She worked for the jewelry gallery “elacindoruknazanpak” for four years following her graduation.
She received the Fulbrigt Award in 2006 and moved to USA to study jewelry and metalsmithing at SUNY at New Paltz. She completed graduate school in 2009 and returned to Turkey. Her work has been exhibited in numerous shows in Turkey and abroad since 2005. Currently, she is teaching at Maden and a PhD candidate in Art History at Istanbul Technical University.
